Under the Variable Price Option, the variable prices are established based on the July price forecast for each crop, using the same sources used to determine the base price for the crop.
Premium and coverage are adjusted accordingly based on the July price forecasts. The variable price applies only to those customers who chose this option by March 31, 2008.
