Just as reliable information helps you produce a better crop, reliable information helps us at Crop Insurance provide better insurance products and customer service. We are committed to ensuring your personal information is secure at all times and have implemented privacy procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation.
Your Personal Information
Personal information is defined as any information about an identifiable individual that is recorded in any form. As an individual, it is your right to control when, how, and to what extent your information is communicated to others.
The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) provides “rules to govern the collection, use and disclosure of personal information in a manner that recognizes the right of privacy of individuals with respect to their personal information and the need of organizations to collect, use, or disclose personal information for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances.”
Through our privacy policy and in accordance with PIPEDA, Crop Insurance guarantees your information’s protection, security, confidentiality, integrity and availability.
