Loss Claim

Q: What happens to my claim if I'm assessed with an uninsured cause of loss?
A: If the loss could have been prevented or controlled economically,
uninsured causes of loss will be applied. The claim may be denied in full or
reduced equal to the yield-loss that can be determined as due to the controllable
factor. Where a partial reduction in the claim is made, it may be based on the
difference in yields between the field where a loss occurred compared to an
undamaged area within the same field, an adjacent field where the loss was controlled,
or the average area yield.
