Big Game and Waterfowl Damage

How does the wildlife damage compensation program work?

What animals are considered "big game" and "waterfowl" and which are not?

What crops are eligible for compensation?

Do I have to be a Crop Insurance customer to register a wildlife claim?

I have unharvested crop and wildlife damage is starting to occur. What should I do?

When should I report damage to my hay stack, tree nursery, etc?

Do I have to pay for an inspection?

If I don't pay a premium for coverage, who pays the claims?

If my harvest is delayed and waterfowl or big game start to damage my crops, what should I do?

If my crop is left out, is it eligible for compensation of damaged by big game over the winter or waterfowl in the spring?

I'm concerned wildlife excreta could make my grain unsaleable. What should I do?
